1.Origin of Steel

The source of steel is iron ore, which is the form of iron (Fe) in nature. Pure iron does not exist in nature. Iron ore is mainly divided into magnetite, hematite and limonite. These are all iron oxides, the difference being in the way they are oxidized. The higher the iron content in iron ore, the better. Theoretically, the highest iron content in iron ore is about 72%, and the iron content is more than 60%. The iron ore is first reduced into iron (milling iron) in the furnace, and then sent to the steelmaking furnace for decarburization and refining into steel. The scrap steel can also be regenerated and regenerated in the steelmaking furnace. Generally, steel is made into products of different natures and shapes depending on the intended use, and is a so-called steel product. Usually steel products are iron ore reduced, melted into milling iron (milling), milled iron refined into steel (steel making), steel rolled and processed, and then made into various steel products, the generalized steel products contain cast iron, Cast steel, forged steel and steel processed products.

 

2. Classification of Steel

Steel mainly includes four series, steel profile , steel plate, steel pipe, steel wire, steel bar.

1. Steel profile: H beam, I beam,angle steel, galvanized angle steel, channel steel.

2. Steel plate: mild thick plate, checkered plate,galvanized plate,hot rolled plate.

3. Steel pipe: Square pipe, rectangular pipe, galvanized pipe, weld pipe, seamless pipe, stainless steel pipe.

4. Steel rebar, steel wire

5. Steel bar: Flat bar, round bar,

 

3. Application Area

Used in a large number of architectural and engineering structures. It is used to make steel bars or build factory buildings, high-voltage transmission towers, bridges, vehicles, boilers, containers, ships, etc., and is also used as a mechanical part that does not require high performance.
